About ONANO INDUSTRIAL CORP. Founded in 2004, ONANO is the first professional optoelectronic glass thinning manufacturing service company in Taiwan. In addition, since its establishment, ONANO has focused on the research, development and manufacturing services of photoelectric thinning glass. In the past year, it has been developing TGV (glass core) corresponding services for customer groups. To obtain holes with high aspect ratios, highly selective etching processes are needed. Depending on the choice of glass, in some cases etching with acids is sufficient. But in many cases, the results of acidic etching do not meet the requirements, as the etching is very fast. This leads to processes with low selectivity, not allowing to achieve high aspect ratios and leading to higher taper angles. ONANO offers an optimized etching process based on acid and alkaline media, that etching process allows to maintain a very high selectivity and to keep process times short. ONANO offers etching solutions for panel formats. TGV can be manufactured on panel formats 300 x 300 mm, 510 x 515 mm, and 620 x 750mm. No matter in terms of process technology or production capacity, ONANO is in the leading position in the industry; the yield and quality of glass etching are highly recognized by customers. ONANO began to invest in the development of semiconductor substrate-related technologies in 2019, and applied low-temperature co-fired ceramics (LTCC) to achieve a feasible solution for heterogeneous integration.
