Taiwan Wacom Co., Ltd. was jointly established by Watanabe Shokai Co., Ltd. and WACOM Manufacturing Co., Ltd., both of the Japanese Watanabe Shokai Group. It set up its business and manufacturing base in Taiwan in June 2013 as the group’s first step in its Asian deployment. Watanabe Shokai has grown together with Japan’s domestic semiconductor industry and is active in the industry as a trading company dealing in the sale of semiconductor process components and equipment. WACOM Manufacturing mainly supplies the market with high-quality quartz-glass products and silicone products manufactured in-house. Taiwan Wacom not only serves as the group’s overseas business base, providing products handled within the group, but also actively develops and sells new products. On the other hand, centered on China and emerging countries, it also sells high-quality, competitively priced silicone products to countries around the world.
