THK Taiwan Co., Ltd. is the Taiwan entity of THK, a global motion-component manufacturer whose portfolio centers on linear motion, mechanical components, and motion-control parts used in automation and precision machinery. The multipurpose sliding rail Advanced Wheel Guide uses a roller-style rolling section to realise a smooth sliding mechanism. The low-magnetic-permeability LM Guide HSR-M3 is intended to provide high-precision, stable linear motion even in strong magnetic-field environments. THK also expanded its cross-roller-guide lineup with VRG6 and VRG6E types equipped with a mechanism for preventing retainer deviation. For semiconductor manufacturing equipment, the High-Acceleration and Low-Resistance Miniature LM Guide Model AHR is presented as a full-ball miniature guide combining high accuracy, four-way equal load, high acceleration, and low resistance in sizes 9, 12, and 15. Its newly developed circulation component enables high-speed and high-acceleration operation, directly addressing demand for higher productivity in semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Each row of balls is arranged at a 45° contact angle so loads are uniform in radial, reverse-radial, and lateral directions, allowing the miniature LM Guide to be used in all orientations. The stronger and more resilient circulation component is described as improving robustness during high-speed, high-acceleration operation and thereby contributing to productivity improvements. Low sliding resistance is achieved through THK's ideal four circular-arc grooves and two-point contact structure, a configuration that contributes to greater servo control. Model AHR is also designed with interchangeable mounting dimensions so it can replace existing miniature LM Guide units that use Gothic-arch grooves. The AHR family includes Model AHR-S with basic dynamic load ratings of 1 to 2.7 kN and basic static load ratings of 1.54 to 3.75 kN, Model AHR-M with 1.62 to 4.17 kN dynamic and 3.08 to 6.96 kN static ratings, and Model AHR-N with 2.16 to 5.84 kN dynamic and 4.63 to 11.24 kN static ratings. AHR-S and AHR-M are short-block configurations mounted with bolts from above, while AHR-N is a long-block LM Guide mounted with bolts from above; all three are listed in sizes 9, 12, and 15. Together, these products cover smooth general sliding, low-permeability motion in strong magnetic fields, retainer-controlled cross-roller guidance, and miniature high-acceleration linear motion for semiconductor-equipment productivity and positioning requirements.
