Company profile

COHO Advanced Materials Tech. Co., Ltd. was established in 2001 and has more than twenty years of experience in advanced ceramics, special materials, material research and development, forming, sintering, precision machining, and integrated manufacturing. Its manufacturing foundation includes engineering-plastic injection molding, precision ceramic injection molding (CIM), metal powder injection molding (MIM), blade forming, and CNC machining, and it organizes these capabilities as a Total Solution service system for products made from varied materials. From 2001 to 2010, COHO Advanced Materials Tech. Co., Ltd. built precision-ceramic and metal-injection-molding capabilities together with its own material formulations, forming processes, and high-performance sintering, establishing an integrated basis from materials through component manufacturing. From 2011 to 2015, the company expanded into medical ceramics and introduced the ISO 13485 medical-device quality-management system, strengthening precision manufacturing, quality management, and cooperation with international customers. Since 2016, COHO Advanced Materials Tech. Co., Ltd. has expanded material development into energy, advanced thermal management, and high-thermal-conductivity ceramics, including fuel-cell ceramic stack technology and mass-production capability for high-thermal-conductivity aluminum nitride (AlN) substrates. Its core materials include aluminum nitride (AlN), alumina (Al₂O₃), zirconia (ZrO₂), silicon carbide (SiC), aluminum silicon carbide (AlSiC), yttria (Y₂O₃), YAG, and ALON, with development focused on high thermal conductivity, low thermal expansion, electrical insulation, plasma resistance, and reliability. COHO Advanced Materials Tech. Co., Ltd. integrates material formulation, powder processing, precision forming, sintering, CNC precision machining, surface treatment, measurement and analysis, and quality verification, and can provide material selection, structural design, prototyping, customized manufacturing, and mass-production support. For semiconductor equipment components, the company specializes in insulating, high-thermal-conductivity, and high-strength special materials such as alumina, zirconia, aluminum nitride, and silicon nitride, while its semiconductor business also develops components for high-temperature, vacuum, plasma, and high-cleanliness environments. Semiconductor applications include AlN Heater products, ceramic substrates, Lift Pin, Nozzle, and precision ceramic components related to semiconductor-equipment chambers, with continued work on high-thermal-conductivity and plasma-resistant materials. For CPO (Co-Packaged Optics), Silicon Photonics, and high-speed optical communications, COHO Advanced Materials Tech. Co., Ltd. extends precision ceramic forming and micro-scale machining into MT Ferrule, MT Alignment, and optoelectronic-packaging ceramic components, combining dimensional control, thermally conductive materials, and low-thermal-expansion characteristics. In power-electronics applications, its products include IGBTs for automobiles, low-earth-orbit satellites, high-speed-rail inverters, and charging-pile high-frequency inverters, with use in Taiwan and exports to Japan and the United States. In medical equipment, the company designs and develops ceramic artificial tooth roots, operates a Class 10,000 cleanroom for a series of medical products, and works with medical centers, dental hospitals, and implant centers around the world on ceramic and metal dental materials, artificial tooth roots, and implant instruments. COHO Advanced Materials Tech. Co., Ltd. identifies itself as the first Taiwanese manufacturer with GMP and ISO 13485 certification for precision ceramic artificial-tooth-root production and reports product approvals in Taiwan, the United States, China, and other regions. Its milestones include ISO9001 and ISO13485 certification and a Small and Medium Enterprise Innovation Research Award in 2010, TFDA, FDA, and CE certification for a ceramic implant in 2014, an A+ program qualification for ceramic-implant plasma surface modification in 2015, and a 230W/Mk high-thermal-conductivity AlN substrate launched in 2020. Further milestones include a 2005 ceramic surgical-knife manufacturing project for an international medical-device J company, a 2017 fuel-cell stack development project with L company, a 2024 semiconductor-ceramics CIP team and energy-saving ceramic-sintering work, and 2026 projects covering material recycling, ALN heater development with a Japanese S company, and ceramic micro-deep-hole cleaning.

Exhibits

COHO Advanced Materials Tech. Co., Ltd. provides precision ceramic injection molding (CIM), metal powder injection molding (MIM), and engineering-plastic injection molding for complex designs ranging from very small parts to large assemblies. Its injection-molding processes emphasize precision, efficiency, versatility, stable and consistent quality, production-cost savings, and timely delivery of required products. Dry pressing fills metal or ceramic dry powder into a metal die cavity and applies pressure to form a high-density green body, providing high production efficiency, low labor cost, low scrap rate, a short production cycle, high product density, and high strength for volume industrial production. Dry-pressed products include ceramic insulating parts, wear-resistant ceramic liners and tiles, and sealing rings. Doctor-blade forming is suited to sheet products from 0.2mm to 3mm thick and combines a high degree of automation, high efficiency, and uniform internal structure for applications shaped by the miniaturization and integration of electronic components. Tape casting is used for integrated-circuit packaging, thin-film hybrid integrated circuits, adjustable potentiometers, chip resistors, and glass copper-clad laminates, and its adaptability and formability support the manufacture of micron-scale ceramic films.
