The Automatic Single Wafer Transfer and Wafer Sorter WS200 is a stand-alone tabletop automation system with a two-cassette stage configuration designed to reduce wafer breakage and scratches, and it is compatible with industry-standard shipping, process, and metal cassettes. Operators control the WS200 from a touch-screen display and can move wafers between cassettes in Manual Mode, Quick Transfer Mode, or Recipe Mode. Its vacuum-less low-contact end-effector includes a wafer-mapping sensor that maps wafer locations in each cassette and detects wafer presence for accurate movement, with options for a SECS/GEM Tool Interface, integrated automated OCR, and a Pre-Aligner. WS200 functions include single-wafer transfer, lot split transfer, merge and pitch-change applications, test-wafer fill loading or removal, combining or splitting wafer lots including odd-even handling, thin-wafer handling up to 2mm warpage, and MEMS or Taiko® handling with a wafer-edge end-effector option. The WS200 supports wafer sizes from 100mm to 200mm and requires 24VDC 3 Amps with a 120VAC-to-24VDC power supply.
