The company designs precision laboratory instruments including diamond and metallographic cutting machines, mounting presses, grinding and polishing machines, coating machines, and pressing machines, serving material analysis, quality control, and research laboratories. It positions itself as Asia's leading metallographic sample preparation and testing equipment brand, with customers across 39 countries and management principles of Quality, Speed, Innovation, and Responsibility. The company holds ISO 9001 certification (since 2003) and CE compliance.
Exhibits
In the preparation process of metallographic analysis, metallographic mounting can effectively protect samples and ensure the precision and consistency of subsequent grinding and polishing. Metallographic mounting is mainly divided into cold mounting and hot mounting, and the appropriate method should be selected based on the characteristics of the sample. Cold mounting is suitable for samples that are heat-sensitive, fragile, or small in size, such as ceramics, plastics, and electronic components. It commonly uses epoxy resin and hardeners, and employs vacuum impregnation technology to remove air bubbles, enhancing the quality of the mounting. In contrast, hot mounting is ideal for metal samples, using high temperature and pressure to form the mounting, typically with phenolic or acrylic powder, offering greater strength and durability. It is particularly suitable for the rapid processing of large quantities of samples. Choosing the right consumables is crucial to the quality of the sample mounting. Cold mounting materials such as epoxy resin and acrylic resin have different curing speeds, transparency, and applicable ranges. Hot mounting often uses phenolic or acrylic powder, with a shorter molding time. Additionally, selecting the correct laboratory equipment, sample holders, and operational techniques ensures the stability and edge integrity of the sample during the mounting process. Proper mounting methods and equipment can significantly enhance the accuracy and efficiency of metallographic analysis, providing more reliable data for materials science research and engineering applications. TopTech, with over 30 years of R&D experience, is dedicated to designing and manufacturing the TOPTECH series of metallographic mounting equipment, suitable for industries such as semiconductors, electronic components, metal materials, and heat treatment. Based on feedback from domestic and international customers, we have launched several practical, high-performance, and cost-effective vacuum impregnation machines and hot mounting presses. Our vacuum impregnation machines feature a self-developed fully automatic vacuum pressure control system and intelligent resin distributing system, ensuring that the edges between the mounted sample and the mounting material are free of air gaps, preventing adverse effects on metallographic experiment results. Meanwhile, our hot mounting presses incorporate self-developed intelligent pressure detection and control systems, as well as temperature control systems, optimizing the mounting process for metals. These machines are not only easy to operate, safe, and reliable but also deliver fast and stable processes. For more details, please refer to our Contact-Us page.
