在既有設備上進行改造時，希望加裝能夠讓輸送機（conveyor）升降的驅動器，但不希望挖掘地面。 使用 ZCA，因為不需要設置氣缸收納空間，可實現最大 90% 的低底盤化，有效降低 AGV 的整體高度。同時也有助於減輕設備重量。 使用 ZCA，因為不需要設置氣缸收納空間，可實現最大 90% 的低底盤化，因此即使不挖掘地坑，只需放置設備也可實現升降功能。 使用 ZCA，由於無需擔過熱問題，可在負荷時間率 100%ED 下運行，因此非常適合生產節拍（takt time）短的應用場合。 透過將兩條具有特殊形狀的鏈條，在專用鏈輪（sprocket）上相互咬合，可使原本為兩條獨立鏈條的系統結合為一條柱狀鏈條。這就是 Zip Chain（拉鏈式鏈條）。由於收納時可以折疊存放在低矮的箱體內，其高度僅為行程長度的約 10～15%。與空壓缸或液壓缸相比，所需空間大幅減少，因此即使在安裝空間受限的應用場合也能夠輕鬆導入。藉由這種卓越的空間節省能力（Space Saving），也能夠實現過去難以實現的全新應用場合。 ※2：若所使用的直流電源之輸出容量或過電壓耐量不足，可能因回生能量導致電源或驅動器的保護功能啟動，使馬達停止運轉。 若需進行此類操作，請務必選用輸出容量及過電壓耐量足夠的電源，或改用電池作為電源。 當輸入軸固定時，鏈條尖端在行程方向上的移動量被視為背隙，對於所有尺寸的 ZCA25、ZCA35 和 ZCA45，背隙約為 0.3 mm。這並非保證值。實際上，它會根據使用條件而有所不同，例如移動行程量和安裝方向。
