Company profile
CDS Condition Monitoring Service Co. was founded by CBC Group, which has accumulated decades of professional experience and practical work in maintenance and repair of bearings and mechanical equipment. The company was established to help customers obtain fuller effectiveness from existing equipment and improve equipment productivity through condition monitoring and maintenance technology. By introducing and distributing predictive-maintenance technologies, CDS helps customers move from periodic maintenance and malfunction correction toward predictive and proactive maintenance techniques and management. Its goals include pursuing zero equipment failure, improving productivity, lowering maintenance expense, preventing environmental, health, and safety hazards, and supporting industry in developing predictive-maintenance management systems. The CDS operation was established in 1991 and focuses on equipment health examination and condition-prediction products and services that help customers improve productivity and form a foundation for Industry 4.0. Its service areas include Industry 4.0 and AI smart factories, online monitoring technology, vibration-analysis technology, laser measurement systems, engine-oil, refrigeration-oil, compressor-oil, turbine-oil, hydraulic-oil and gear-oil analysis, oil monitoring systems, and semiconductor equipment repair. The oil-monitoring product list includes OilWear S120, OilWear C100, the SMK intelligent oil monitoring system, OilVisco viscosity monitoring, and OilHealth Streak oil monitoring.
Exhibits
CDS vibration measurement and analysis technology is designed to protect motors, pumps, fans, chillers, compressors, and MAU systems against sudden shutdown and the associated production loss in smart-manufacturing and Industry 4.0 environments. TRIO handheld vibration analyzers CDS-T 8 and CDS-T10 can be paired with an expert diagnostic system so equipment fault points can be found without manually interpreting spectra. After measurement, the system uses 6000 built-in diagnostic rules and 1200 fault modes to generate diagnostic results, while its database and artificial-intelligence interpretation can identify more than 1200 machine fault conditions. Examples of identified conditions include bearing wear, parallel or angular misalignment, belt or chain movement, fan-blade damage, gear wear or misalignment, compressor imbalance, pump cavitation or air blockage, motor stator or rotor damage, and motor electrical problems. A simple user interface is intended to let technical personnel grasp equipment condition quickly, while the system is also presented as reducing overall investment cost. Visual equipment trees, diagnostic-analysis records, and damage-level statistics provide a broader view of operating condition across plant equipment. The explosion-proof industrial tablet offering includes rugged, waterproof and drop-resistant models in 8-inch and 10-inch sizes with high-resolution color touch screens, and it can work with a collector for four-channel synchronous acquisition and immediate on-site diagnostic results. A Bluetooth wireless data collector works with a tablet to gather vibration data, provides waterproof and dustproof protection for dusty, misty, and high-temperature environments, and is available in an explosion-proof version with international explosion-proof certification. Its architecture can synchronously collect vibration in three directions and perform fast Fourier transformation at the same time for expert-system diagnosis. The measurement bandwidth is 0.5Hz to 40kHz and supports acceleration, velocity, bearing demodulation, displacement signals, digital triggering, rotational-speed measurement, and order-tracked data. The triaxial accelerometer can collect three-direction vibration simultaneously and lets operators choose convenient and safe measurement positions. Using a piezoelectric transistor element structure, the triaxial accelerometer is specified at 100 mV/g output, ±50 g measurement range, 2 to 10000 Hz bandwidth, IP68 protection, -40 to +80°C working temperature, stainless-steel housing, and Class 1, Division 2 and ATEX Zone 2 locations explosion-proof certification, with an ICS-7 NIST traceable original calibration report. For critical equipment that cannot tolerate failure, CDS also provides 24-hour online vibration monitoring with automatic diagnosis and signal-upload options including Ethernet, Wifi, LoRa, Zigbee, and 4G/5G, combined with web or mobile-app interfaces. The wireless monitoring system combines a wireless triaxial temperature sensor with an industrial gateway and lists functions and outcomes including key-equipment condition monitoring, early fault prediction, reduced downtime, 90% accuracy, longer equipment life, plug-and-play installation, Industry 4.0 cloud technology, AI expert diagnostic software, and IoT solutions. The listed performance figures for this monitoring approach include more than 10 times return on investment, return in 2 months, 50% lower maintenance cost, 30% more plant uptime, and 14% higher safety. Its AI expert diagnostic software can be accessed from computers or phones to view plant and machine health indexes and historical trends, automatically diagnose equipment, issue alarms, and diagnose industrial motors, pumps, fans, compressors, and transmission mechanisms. Standard and industrial gateways provide IP66/IP67 protection and 24x7 monitoring with hourly summaries and daily diagnostic analysis, while sensor options include a Wirepas Mesh triaxial accelerometer with temperature measurement, early bearing-abnormality detection, IP68 protection, and listed explosion-proof certifications. Wired monitoring is also available through a multi-channel real-time data-acquisition system designed for 24-hour operation in place of manual inspection, paired with expert diagnostic software for early fault prediction and maintenance, comprehensive data acquisition, reliability, system expandability, and an industrial protective enclosure.
