YODN Lighting Corp. was founded in December 2003. With its own advanced R&D technology, the company passed the "science-based industry" review and was approved to invest and set up a plant in the Hsinchu Science Park. Its main business is the research, development, manufacturing, and marketing of light sources and accessories used in various automated inspection and semiconductor assembly/test applications, and it established the well-known light-source brand "YODN". Its current main product lines are light-source boxes and industrial lamps, with proprietary technologies protected by patents in Germany, the United States, Taiwan, China, and elsewhere. YODN was established in the Hsinchu Science Park in Taiwan in 2003. With more than a decade of optoelectronic manufacturing experience and a strong technical background, it is one of the few R&D and manufacturing companies in Taiwan focused on specialty-application light sources. With deep core light-source technology, the ability to design light sources together with matching equipment, and system-integration service capability, YODN currently holds a place in Taiwan's industrial-equipment light-source industry. YODN's professional scope mainly covers AOI inspection light sources, UV curing, and UV exposure lamps, applicable in process and inspection equipment for the semiconductor, PCB, LCD panel, touch, solar, and other industries. In the past the industry generally had no alternative and could only adopt foreign products, but YODN's industrial light sources are entirely manufactured in Taiwan, with reliable quality; the technology also originates from Japanese lamp makers and has been certified by major manufacturers and equipment vendors in China, Korea, and Taiwan, enabling inventory adjustment and fast delivery according to customer needs. Since 2013, it has successfully built brand recognition in the industrial sectors on both sides of the Taiwan Strait and continued to win orders and recognition from major manufacturers. In the biotech and medical field, YODN has launched a dedicated light box for fluorescence microscopes, which has been recognized by leading domestic professional instrument distributors and, paired with various microscopes, has successfully entered many domestic professional medical research institutions.
