TMBA SMART TEAM is associated with the Taiwan Machine Tool & Accessory Builders' Association (TMBA). It is led by TMBA and formed with member companies to highlight machine tools and components within the semiconductor supply chain. It is a team or pavilion-style machine-tool and component initiative rather than a single operating manufacturer. Its capabilities cover equipment assembly fields such as backgrind, slicing, lapping, polishing, cut and down set, trim and form, as well as FPD laser treatment, cutting, rubbing, and general-use processes including cutting, drilling, laser ablation, and beveling. Its semiconductor relevance is in precision machining, component supply, and equipment-building capabilities that support semiconductor and display manufacturing.
