T&C Technical Co., Ltd. was founded in 1988 and has combined sales of water-quality measuring instruments with service work that assures instrument quality for more than a quarter of a century. From its early years, the company focused on ultrapure-water quality for semiconductor manufacturing and became the first company in Japan to establish a method of visiting customer sites to perform on-site maintenance and calibration for that quality assurance work. T&C Technical subsequently expanded water-quality instrument services in Japan and overseas, including validation work for pharmaceutical manufacturing water in accordance with the Japanese Pharmacopoeia and the United States Pharmacopoeia. In product development, the company began developing Total Organic Carbon (TOC) analyzers as instruments for an important water-quality indicator, and its TOC analyzers are used by customers in electronics, pharmaceuticals, food, beverages, and other industries. The company also develops software for water-quality measuring instruments using accumulated technical know-how, with the objective of contributing to labor saving and cost reduction in customer facility operation. T&C Technical has obtained ISO9001 certification and works to maintain and improve product-development and calibration technologies while providing maintenance and calibration services for products purchased by customers. Its basic policy is to become a trusted technical group that contributes to the international community, develop new technologies, respond to customer requests and requirements, and continually improve the effectiveness of its quality management system. T&C Technical provides inspection, calibration, maintenance, and repair for products it sells and for some equivalent measuring instruments supplied by other manufacturers, supporting customers from delivery-time performance confirmation through annual periodic inspection and response to unexpected instrument failures. Service can be performed by taking products back for inspection and calibration or by visiting customer equipment directly for on-site inspection, calibration, and repair. At the Toride R&D Center in Ibaraki, the company's ultrapure-water production system has a capacity of 2 tons per hour and can produce high-grade reference solution for sensor inspection and dilution water for standard reagents, supporting equipment inspection and adjustment. Its validation work includes IQ, Installation Qualification, and OQ, Operational Qualification, as part of scientifically confirming that inspection or analysis methods and work processes are appropriate.
