Company profile

PARKSON WU INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD. is dedicated to the research, development and production of CNC rotary tables and provides a comprehensive rotary-table line together with intelligent storage systems for automated production. The company developed, designed and manufactured an FMS multi-station intelligent storage system for unmanned automated production, with stated goals of increasing production efficiency, reducing labor cost and improving product consistency and quality. PARKSON works with domestic and international machine-tool manufacturers to develop high-precision rotary tables for different machining fields. Its core rotary-table technology includes a two-section worm-gear transmission system, and the company has received ISO-9001 certification. For production management, PARKSON uses ERP standard operating procedures for large-scale customized output, applies high-standard quality inspections and states that the complete manufacturing process is carried out in Taiwan. Its R&D team focuses on advanced application technology and mechanical-integration engineering, while the company supports domestic and international machine-tool makers and global sales. PARKSON states that it was established in 1990 and began developing and producing digitally controlled rotary tables in 1994 as machine tools demanded higher machining precision and efficiency. Its application markets include aerospace, green-energy machinery, bicycle and electric-vehicle parts, automobile and ship parts, 3C high-tech and semiconductor parts, machine-tool parts, medical applications, automated-component processing and daily-necessities manufacturing. PARKSON states that its Taiwan-made CNC rotary tables have become designated products used by Taiwanese and international machine-tool manufacturers.

The 4th-axis rotary table supports equal, unequal and continuous rotary machining, and can be combined with manual or rotary tailstocks, center or jig plates and other accessories to broaden the range of machinable parts. For complex shapes and multi-surface workpieces, the 4th-axis configuration is intended to improve machining-center production efficiency and machining accuracy. The 5-axis rotary table combines the 4th and 5th axes for equal, unequal or continuous rotary machining and can be matched with manual or hydraulic chucks and fixtures, zero-point clamping systems and other accessories. PARKSON describes 5-axis machining as suitable for parts that need greater intricacy and fast precision, with flexibility and multifunctionality for complex machining requirements. The horizontal rotary table for the B-axis supports equal, unequal and continuous rotary machining and can use tailstocks, center plates and other accessories to extend processing range. Its Automatic Pallet Changer enables another set of workpieces to be loaded while the current workpiece is being machined, supporting continuous production while reducing loading and unloading downtime. The Hydraulic Indexing Table uses hydraulic power and control with a three-piece toothed-disc structure to position workpieces for high-precision, multi-angle machining. The Swing Spindle Head, also called a Rotary Spindle Head or B-axis, is used on 5-axis machining centers and multi-axis turning and milling compound lathes so multiple operations can be completed on one machine and repeated clamping between machines can be avoided. With a 5-axis simultaneous controller, the Swing Spindle Head supports machining of multi-faceted parts, curved surfaces and complex shapes. PARKSON's stainless-steel CNC rotary table for EDM is designed for water-immersed rotary machining, carries an IP68 waterproof rating and can be fully immersed in water or Die Sinker EDM oil. The Direct-Drive High Speed Rotary Table uses a high-speed DD motor for equal, unequal or continuous rotary machining and turning, with 4th-axis and 4th-and-5th-axis configurations that can be paired with tailstocks, chucks, fixtures or zero-point clamping. The Flexible Manufacturing System combines computer intelligent scheduling, CNC machines, assembly devices, robots, quality-inspection devices, material handling and storage, and is intended for flexible production across small quantities and multiple product varieties. PARKSON's Precision Reduction Gear is described with high reduction ratios, compact size, high precision, zero backlash, high torque density and low noise for high-end industrial applications. The product site also lists CNC Rotary Table and Tailstock, Roller Cam Rotary Table, CNC Tilting Rotary Table, Horizontal CNC Rotary Table, Automatic Pallet Changer, Hydraulic Index Table, Swing Spindle Head and Direct-Drive High Speed Rotary Table as major categories. Named rotary-table and accessory series include MNC series computer indexing tables, MTD series 4-axis sets, DAS series disc-brake tailstocks and DTS series manual tailstocks. For 3C and semiconductor manufacturing, CNC rotary tables provide angular control and stable rotation for machining small and complex structures, including metal chassis, aluminum-alloy frames and plastic components used in consumer electronics. In semiconductor processing, PARKSON positions CNC rotary tables for precision machining of wafers and packaging materials of different sizes and shapes, and for positioning during inspection and assembly where process stability and consistency are required. Products recommended on the semiconductor application pages include a storage-type multi-station flexible intelligent storage system, PCS-14-50-UC, CNC horizontal rotary table or dual table, Horizontal Automatic Pallet Changer, Standard type CNC Tilting Rotary Table and CNC Rotary Table. The product range also includes the PAR-351R table-to-table worm-gear unit, and PARKSON reports development of a 2000mm dual-drive ultra-heavy-duty CNC precision indexing table for heavy and large workpieces. During quality inspection, CNC rotary tables are used to inspect parts of different sizes and shapes so they can be checked against specified tolerance requirements. During assembly, the same positioning capability is used to locate individual parts precisely and support assembly accuracy and product consistency. The Chinese semiconductor-application page also lists three DD motors with the storage-type multi-station flexible intelligent storage system recommendation.
