The atmospheric-plasma offering is an automated system that uses a patented argon plasma source at atmospheric pressure, can be applied across semiconductor process stages, supports fully automated operation, and can use a 300 mm wafer FOUP/Cassette transfer interface to enable high-efficiency production. The system is also described as being designed for front-end semiconductor processes and wafer-surface activation, with fully automated handling for 300 mm wafers and a maximum throughput of 60 wafers per hour.
