Industrial Technology Research Institute, or ITRI, is a Taiwan-based applied research and technology-development organization founded in 1973 and connected to Taiwan's industrial technology ecosystem. Its enabling technologies include semiconductor, communications, smart sensing, AI, and cybersecurity, and it offers services, projects, incubation, and industry consultancy. ITRI also conducts semiconductor chip and 3D IC-related technology work. ITRI is a public-interest applied R&D institute that develops and transfers semiconductor, ICT, and advanced manufacturing technologies and supports industrial collaboration, startups, and commercialization.
