IHARA SCIENCE TAIWAN CO., LTD. is the Taiwan entity associated with Ihara Science's piping, fitting and valve business. Ihara Science developed as a specialist manufacturer centered on bite-type tube fittings and other high-pressure fittings for hydraulic applications, and it now pursues optimum piping by studying all fluids used across industrial equipment. Fittings and valves are components of its Optimum Piping System, which considers durability, design and other functionality, cost, handling and environmental load across the entire piping system. The system covers design, processing, assembly and maintenance. Clean-fluid piping covers high-purity gas, high-purity liquids, pharmaceuticals, food and pure water, including sensitive semiconductor-manufacturing requirements. For semiconductor and liquid-crystal manufacturing, its optimum piping system is used in utility piping for devices, ancillary facilities and factories and provides high-precision products and solutions tailored to fluid and application requirements. The semiconductor piping system is compact, offers high cost performance, supports easy and secure installation, and is designed for high maintainability. Its semiconductor range spans piping items from large-diameter size-A bellows valves to tubing-size products. The Taiwan entity has import and export qualifications.

The semiconductor and liquid-crystal product lineup includes BI-Lok stainless fittings, VTF, AWF, diaphragm products, bellows valves and other CP products, and NTF. Major delivery destinations include sputtering equipment, single-crystal pull-up apparatus, etching equipment, lithography systems, resist-processing equipment, cleaning equipment, annealing equipment, CVD equipment, vacuum-deposition equipment, dry vacuum pumps, coater developers, gas purifiers, sampling boxes, exhaust-gas treatment equipment, clean rooms, pure-water equipment and laminating devices. BI-Lok uses two ferrules so that tightening the nut makes the back ferrule hold the tube and the front ferrule seal the fluid, and its wetted parts use the same material for sealing various fluids across a wide temperature range; stainless products are RoHS compliant. I-fit is a two-part fitting with the ferrule integrated into the nut, eliminating concerns about lost ferrules or reversed orientation; Rotation Control Type and Nut Full Tightening Type options are available, and the fitting body is shared with BI-Lok. The plastic-tube fitting uses a main body and nut and supports easy and secure connection by fully tightening the nut, while the vinyl-hose fitting uses an insert, sleeve and nut structure to improve resistance to water leakage and hose pull-out. The weld-less e-fit is a Good Design Award-winning mechanical fitting for pipe size designed to minimize flow-path resistance. AWF Automatic Welding Fitting is designed for automatic welding machines in high-purity gas systems for semiconductor and liquid-crystal manufacturing equipment, uses high-grade stainless steel, is vacuum double packed in a clean room, and is RoHS compliant. VTF uses a surface-seal metal gasket for high-purity gas systems and enables leak-free connection from vacuum to high pressure; its welding parts use high-grade stainless steel, are double vacuum packed in a clean room, and are RoHS compliant. NTF is a clamp-type replacement for conventional high-purity semiconductor-gas VTF fittings that addresses twisting during piping work and particle generation during thread tightening, and it is RoHS compliant. The stainless Quick Joint enables one-touch connection and detachment of piping, with thread, BI-Lok and EP-Fit connection options. FF Quick Joints provide a quickly attachable full-flow connection that maximizes channel diameter and reduces pressure loss for energy conservation, with a foolproof mechanism that prevents disassembly while the handle is open and prevents opening after disassembly. The Bite Type Tube Fitting is a weld-less high-pressure fitting for hydraulic applications that eliminates threading, welding, flaring and brazing and supports tube bending. The ISO-compliant Bite Type Tube Fitting conforms to ISO standards for hydraulic piping in the machine-tools market and allows tightening by fully turning the nut to reduce variation and support easy and secure piping work. On-Site Flange enables piping without welding and uses a specialized tightening device and wedging sleeves to achieve strength equivalent to welding; it avoids pre-welding fire prevention and post-welding acid washing, reduces equipment downtime and simplifies repairs. High-pressure Threaded and Socket-weld Fittings are used for medium- to high-pressure hydraulic piping and support schedule pipes. The compact low-torque Swivel Joint is intended for hydraulic applications and reduces twisting of hydraulic hoses to improve durability. Hose Adapter products are offered to reduce pressure loss, noise, vibration and contamination, including the NNT series with smooth flow. Bunki-kun enables branch piping without joints, reduces flow resistance, eliminates threading and welding, and can be manufactured with directed corrugated shapes. The INF2 In-line Filter is used for high-purity gas systems and has a replaceable element for easier maintenance. Named BI-Lok and related tube-fitting variants include BI-LOK (Inch), BI-LOK (Metric), BI-LOK (Pipe), PTF (former EP Fit), EP-FIT (Inch), EP-FIT (Metric), e1 Touch (Metric), E-FIT (Pipe), AWF (Inch), VTF (Inch), VTF-O (Inch), NTF, QA (Inch), QA (Metric) and QF.
