Company profile

HANSTECH Advanced Materials, established in 2004, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Hsinchu Science (HSC) Technology, focusing on the distribution of engineering materials and the marketing of patented specialty-chemical formulations. In addition, HANSTECH works together with the HSC R&D team to actively engage in the application of nanomaterials. Upholding the HSC Group's core philosophy of "reliable, advanced, sustainable," HANSTECH continues to deepen its corporate spirit of "service, professionalism, innovation," striving to become a trustworthy partner for its customers. In the field of engineering materials, HANSTECH strictly controls product quality and supplies high-quality piping system fittings required for professional processes. For PVDF and PP materials, HANSTECH distributes products from the Swiss company +GF+, covering general-grade and clean-grade pipes, valves and fittings, widely used in fluid systems in the semiconductor, optoelectronics, chemical and biotech industries. To provide customers with diverse options, HANSTECH also distributes products from FIT-LINE, a US professional designer and manufacturer of piping fittings for semiconductor equipment, offering solutions that meet high-purity and high-corrosion-resistance requirements and helping customers improve equipment reliability and process stability. In the application of semiconductor fluid piping, HANSTECH provides PFA tubing with high cleanliness and excellent corrosion resistance, helping customers select the most suitable fluid piping materials according to different operating environments to ensure stable and reliable system operation. At the same time, in response to customers' demand for piping system monitoring functions, HANSTECH established its own brand HANSTECH and launched transparent pipe fittings made of Clear PVC. This product series offers a light transmittance of over 80%, effectively helping users visually inspect the fluid status in real time during the process, combining the dual functions of see-through monitoring and equipment protection. The specialty chemicals division follows the global ESG trend and promotes the concept of green processes with the goal of environmental protection and waste reduction. To this end, HANSTECH has built its own plant to address the waste-liquid treatment issues that enterprises face in their processes, introducing waste-liquid reuse technology to help customers recycle and treat liquid industrial waste and providing professional special waste-liquid treatment solutions. In addition, HANSTECH provides customers with patented formulation products that can effectively remove hydrogen peroxide from organic solvents, turning waste liquid into a resource. Taking the semiconductor industry as an example, process waste liquid often contains high concentrations of hydrogen peroxide, posing a potential explosion risk during transport and handling. Through the application of the patented formulation, HANSTECH helps customers pre-treat waste liquid at the source, reducing high disposal-transport costs and safety risks. The treated waste liquid then has reuse value, meets industrial-grade standards, and can be used by related industries, further realizing the vision of a circular economy and sustainable development. The nanomaterials division focuses on ESD electrostatic-dissipation surface-treatment solutions for the semiconductor and packaging-and-testing industries. Replacing traditional hard anodizing and Teflon coating, the HANSTECH film layer adopts PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) ion-plating coating technology. Its applications cover equipment components for IC packaging, testing and transfer in semiconductors, preventing damage to key equipment such as inspection instruments and packaging molds caused by static accumulation and discharge in high-precision manufacturing environments. The film layer itself has excellent adhesion as well as wear resistance and acid/alkali resistance, allowing equipment to greatly extend its service life after coating. At the same time, through a special film-layer structure, the surface electrical properties can be precisely tuned according to different product requirements to achieve customized electrostatic protection, helping semiconductor industry customers overcome electrostatic protection challenges and improve the yield of advanced packaging processes.
