Company profile
GPAS OPTRONICS TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD., also identified as HMH, was established in 1998 in Changhua, Taiwan and focuses on distributing automation sensors and technology to multiple industries. The company is the authorized distributor of Baumer Electric AG in Taiwan, making Baumer sensing and automation products a central part of its represented portfolio. Baumer Electric AG is an international family-owned business focused on sensor technology, encoders, measuring instruments, and components for automated image processing. The Baumer Group manufactures sensors, encoders, measuring instruments, and automated image-processing components and operates as an owner-managed family business. Baumer employs about 2800 people worldwide across 39 subsidiaries in 19 countries, giving the represented brand an international operating and service footprint. Its customers range from small, highly specialized plant and machine construction companies to large industrial enterprises and globally operating groups of companies. Baumer has served customers in Europe and around the world for more than 70 years, with know-how spanning development, production, and customer contact across its branch network. The Baumer brand identifies partnership, precision, a pioneering spirit, a broad range of services, and international awareness as values applied throughout development, production, and customer relationships. Through its Taiwan authorization, GPAS OPTRONICS TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. connects that international sensor, measurement, encoder, and machine-vision component portfolio with customers in Taiwan's industrial automation market.
Exhibits
Baumer UV industrial cameras are industrial-standard GigE Vision and 10 GigE Vision ultraviolet cameras for imaging outside the visible spectrum. The high-sensitivity Sony IMX487 UV sensor supports image acquisition across the 200-400 nm non-visible wavelength range. Because the back-illuminated image sensor has useful ultraviolet sensitivity, the standard monochrome IMX536 can also be used for UVA applications from 315-400 nm. For UVB from 280-315 nm and UVC below 280 nm, the IMX487 has higher quantum efficiency and is the preferred sensor option identified for those shorter-wavelength bands. The 10 GigE LXT.UV camera combines a UV-sensitive sensor with high-speed operation, opening applications including recycling and electronics-industry inspection. For installations with limited space, the CXG.UV camera provides a GigE interface in a compact 29 × 29 mm format. Baumer OX smart 2D profile sensors are designed for positioning and inspection tasks in automated environments and integrate processing directly into the sensor. Unlike conventional vision systems that require a controller, the OX series can output physical measurement results directly to a PLC. The OX series provides Z-axis resolution up to 5 μm and cycle frequency up to 800 Hz, supporting high-speed production-line measurement and inspection. Baumer OM20, OM30, OM60, and OM70 miniature laser distance sensors are designed for precise measurement in space-constrained industrial automation environments. The OM series is used for object-distance measurement, position detection, and profile measurement, complementing the OX profile-sensor range and Baumer UV imaging products within the represented automation portfolio.
