Company profile
French Chamber Taiwan is a non-profit organization created in 1991 and is part of the worldwide French Chambers of Commerce and Industry Overseas, CCI France International, network present in 94 countries, with a dedicated team serving business needs in Taiwan. Its missions are to represent and bring together the French business community in Taiwan, assist French companies that want to export to or establish operations in Taiwan, assist Taiwanese companies developing activities in France, and foster ESG practices among its members. The Chamber provides business services to large companies as well as small and medium enterprises, represents industry sectors ranging from commodity trading to high-end technology and services, and organizes events intended to strengthen links among business actors. French Chamber Taiwan describes close collaboration with Team France, a mission to strengthen the French presence and promote French interests in Taiwan, signature Rendez-vous meetings that bring members' knowledge and expertise to Taiwanese authorities, and a focus on corporate social responsibility and digital innovation. Taken together, these activities combine business-community representation, bilateral market-entry assistance, ESG promotion, commercial services, and event organization within one chamber structure serving France-Taiwan business links.
Exhibits
For the semiconductor sector, French Chamber Taiwan organizes the Choose France Taiwan Pavilion at Semicon Taiwan to showcase French semiconductor capabilities, promote business opportunities, and deepen collaboration between Taiwan and France across the global semiconductor value chain. The pavilion's semiconductor scope includes sustainable water and waste management for industry and semiconductor ecosystem development, covering infrastructure and regional innovation conditions around semiconductor manufacturing. The technology coverage also includes energy-efficient processors for HPC, AI and data centres, integrated-device manufacturing technologies for automotive, industrial and communications uses, and innovation spanning components, equipment and energy storage. It also covers low-cost fabrication technology and materials for optical nanostructures requiring miniaturized and sophisticated optical functions, research in photonic integration, low-power microelectronics, advanced packaging and sensor systems, and ion implantation equipment, implantation services and equipment services. Quantum-semiconductor activity is represented through the use of established transistor fabrication methods to pursue scalable and cost-effective quantum processors, while the pavilion as a whole presents France's role in semiconductor technologies and creates a setting for France-Taiwan industry cooperation. Across the pavilion, the stated coverage is a complete value chain that includes advanced processes, materials, water, effluents, and circularity, giving the Chamber a semiconductor-pavilion role that connects technology topics with cross-border business development rather than limiting the program to a single product category. Beyond the pavilion, the Chamber offers a one-stop business-service structure for newly arrived SMEs and entrepreneurs as well as established international firms, supporting market prospecting, company set-up and expansion in Taiwan through company set-up packages for representative offices, branch offices and limited companies, two business centers, company domiciliation, market studies, prospection, VAT refund support, and other business-center services.
