Company profile
The Czech Pavilion is the national pavilion of Czechia (the Czech Republic) at SEMICON Taiwan, organized by the Czech Economic and Cultural Office Taipei together with the investment agency CzechInvest. The pavilion brings leading Czech technology companies, universities, and research institutes to Taiwan to showcase Czechia's strengths in the semiconductor ecosystem, where the country is especially strong in precision equipment manufacturing, laser technologies, and particle imaging. Czechia is noted for accounting for roughly one-third of the global production of electron microscopes. Past Czech Pavilion participants have included companies such as ADVACAM, Meopta, DCT Czech, SVCS Process Innovation, UNITES Systems, and Vakuum Servis, alongside research and academic partners including the Czech National Semiconductor Cluster, Charles University, Brno University of Technology, and the HiLASE Centre. The pavilion promotes research and innovation collaboration between Czech and Taiwanese partners and supports investment and business connections across the semiconductor supply chain, reflecting Czechia's membership in the Alliance of European Semiconductor Regions.
