Company profile

The Canadian Trade Office in Taipei (CTOT 加拿大駐臺北貿易辦事處) represents Canadian interests in Taiwan in the absence of formal diplomatic relations. Originally opened in 1986, the office now delivers the same services as Canada's other missions abroad. The Trade and Investment section of the CTOT houses the Canadian Trade Commissioner Service, providing Canadian export-ready businesses personalized, single-window access to the information, insights and services needed to make investment and business development decisions. By championing Canadian products, services and technologies to Taiwanese industry, CTOT helps Canadian firms unlock opportunities to expand and succeed in Taiwan by highlighting opportunities to enhance cooperation, technology transfer, or collaboration in industrial research and development. While also known for its natural beauty, Canada’s most prized resource is its people: a highly educated and diverse workforce offering expertise and breaking new ground in high-impact, next-generation technologies. With its strong R&D capabilities, entrepreneurial spirit, as well as global market access and orientation, Canada is an ideal place to invest, innovate, invent and inspire.
