Bavaria is a regional high tech and semiconductor ecosystem in Germany rather than a single commercial manufacturer. The Bavarian Semiconductor Initiative, launched in fall 2021, has the Bavarian Chips Alliance as a main pillar intended to strengthen Bavaria as a semiconductor location; the alliance is a strategic network for the semiconductor industry in the Free State of Bavaria. Invest in Bavaria is the state's business promotion agency. Bavaria should be treated as a government or regional investment promotion presence.
