Company profile

Analog Devices Taiwan Limited represents Analog Devices in Taiwan within a global semiconductor organization that connects the physical and digital worlds at the Intelligent Edge and combines analog, digital, and software technologies in its solutions. ADI applies those technologies to digitized factories, mobility, digital healthcare, climate-related challenges, and reliable connectivity, positioning sensing, measurement, computation, and software as parts of a common system approach. Customers are central to ADI's operating approach, with teams listening to customer needs, working alongside them to reduce complexity, and co-creating innovations for difficult technology and sustainability problems. ADI's Intelligent Edge portfolio turns raw data into actionable information through analog and mixed-signal devices, power management, radio-frequency offerings, edge processors, and sensors that connect physical phenomena with digital systems. The company serves aerospace, automotive, sustainable energy, communications, digital healthcare, industrial automation, instrumentation, and consumer applications, reflecting a broad set of end markets for its semiconductor and system technologies. As of the end of fiscal year 2025, ADI described a portfolio of about 75,000 products, about 8,000 patents, more than 13,000 engineers, operations across 31 countries, and $1.7 billion of research and development investment. ADI operates a hybrid manufacturing and supply-chain network that combines internal sites, foundries, and external assembly and test resources, while using partner relationships around the world to deliver semiconductor products. Its manufacturing and test footprint identified wafer fabrication in Camas, Beaverton, Wilmington, and Limerick; assembly and test in Chelmsford; test in Chonburi and Cavite; and probe assembly and final test in Penang. Quality and reliability are supported by a culture of continuous improvement, and ADI also provides technology, management, strategic, learning, and design resources intended to help engineers and students accelerate innovation and time to market. The Taiwan operation presents application support for aerospace and defense, automotive, consumer electronics, data centers, energy, healthcare, industrial automation, instrumentation and measurement, and smart buildings. For energy infrastructure, ADI describes sensing, measurement, and big-data platform technologies that help customers understand grid dynamics, together with expert support through efficient system design. ADI also supports direct online purchasing from quantities of one to several pieces with global shipment from ADI, and Analog Devices Taiwan Limited identifies Macnica for distribution across the Americas, Asia, and Japan. Beyond products, ADI maintains news, technical articles, engineering resources, customer stories, and the Signals+ resource hub, and it participates in conferences and shows across North America, Europe, and Asia.

Exhibits

ADI supplies semiconductor innovation technologies and application solutions built around integrated analog, digital, and software capabilities, including high-performance analog products that account for about 80% of current revenues and can provide 12+ bits of resolution with 50+ MHz of bandwidth. These high-performance analog products address communications, computer, consumer, and industrial markets, where analog and mixed-signal integration on a single chip is used to increase system functionality. Data converters convert real-world analog signals such as voice and video into forms that can be processed digitally; converters represent more than 30% of ADI revenue and more than 40% market share. High-performance amplifiers form another major analog category, with amplifier sales at about 20% of ADI revenue and the high-precision amplifier segment at 40% market share. ADI's RF signal-processing work includes the AD8302 RF IC for base stations, which received EDN's Innovation of the Year award for analog ICs at the publication's March 2002 awards ceremony. The Precision Analog Products group develops precision amplifiers and linear control circuits for optical and wireless transmission, industrial measurement and control, flat-panel displays, automated test equipment, electronic and analytical instruments, medical equipment, robotics, and other accuracy-sensitive applications. Advanced Linear Products develops high-performance subsystem linear components for signal chains in wireless communications, computer peripherals, video, telecommunications, industrial, and instrumentation equipment, including areas such as DTV, HDTV, ultrasound, cellular base stations, and RF detection. High Speed Converters provides high-speed data converters and integrated signal-processing solutions for wired and wireless communications, imaging, medical instrumentation, flat-panel displays, and military systems. Precision Converters focuses on high-resolution mixed-signal data-converter ICs for digital audio, power conversion, data acquisition, and medical markets, with end products including DVD and CD players, CT scanners, and residential electrical meters. High Speed Networking extends a family of fiber-optic ICs with clock and data recovery devices, limiting amplifiers, serializer/deserializer components, transceivers, and laser-diode drivers spanning data rates from 622Mbps to 10Gbps for WDM, SONET/SDH, gigabit Ethernet, and data networking. ADI's power-management range includes low-dropout regulators, dc/dc converters, battery chargers, charge pumps, and regulators for applications including wireless communications, desktop PCs, notebooks, and handheld PCs. Analog Devices Taiwan Limited also provides LTspice®, a free SPICE simulator with schematic capture and waveform viewing functions plus enhanced features and models for analog-circuit simulation. Technical application content includes scalable LCR measurement in ATE through probe-card-level integration, software architecture and AI algorithms for intelligent edge sensors, and design considerations for moving from GMSL2™ to GMSL3™. Together, these products, tools, and application resources support semiconductor design, test, power, connectivity, sensing, measurement, and system integration needs across the markets served by ADI.
