Aegiq is building scalable, fault-tolerant photonic quantum systems for conventional rack-based infrastructure to address the challenge of scaling quantum computers to solve useful problems. Our partners include NVIDIA, BAE Systems, MBDA, Oak Ridge National Labs, Fraunhofer CAP, IQE and many more. The technology is based on deterministic photon sources that result in 10,000 fewer components and millions fewer detectors than current probablistic approaches, reducing deployments from stadium scale to reack scale, integrating easily with existing HPC, data centre or on-premises. Our First Generation quantum computer is deployed today at the NQCC in UK and we are working on our second generation now. Aegiq has a fabless approach, based on standard telecom C-band, leveraging investment in photonics and compound semiconductors for data centre AI infrastructure to achieve high reliability in high value opportunities. In addition, our unique end user focus on quantum ready algorithms deliver value today on GPU (100 million x compression) and seamless transition to future Fault Tolerant Quantum Computers (FTQC) We are focused with our partners on solving complex simulation problems in advanced manufacturing, aerospace, energy, fusion, defence and life sciences
